A volunteer since 2010 at the Rho shelter, which houses cats and dogs, after completing a course as a kennel operator she went on to specialize and in 2014 became a dog trainer; since 2018 she has been a canine re-education instructor and feline relationship consultant. She works to foster and improve the relationship with dogs and cats through an approach that places the human-animal relationship at the centre, enhancing their individual characteristics. She teaches the course "Getting to know and understand dogs and cats" at the University of the Third Age and hosts the "Cat Column" segment of the TV programme "Prendimi con te news", broadcast on various local channels across the country.
