A marine biologist specializing in aquaculture, he has a bachelor’s degree in aquatic biology from the University of California Santa Barbara in the United States, a master’s degree in sustainable aquaculture from the University of Stirling in Scotland, and a doctorate in biotechnology from the University of Greenwich in London.
Lorenzo has worked in several aquaculture and marine biology centers and laboratories in North America, Europe, Madagascar, and New Zealand, and has recently joined ALI, where he is in charge of the crustacean project.
